This is an 8x10 inch etched copper plate printed on 11x14 inch Hahnemuhle Copperplate paper in white. There are only two prints pulled from this plate in this saturated blue ink color. The print is signed and editioned. The pose is based on Vermeer's Girl with a Scale painting. In my etching, the figure is standing at a window with moonlight shining in on her. She is holding a scale and measuring chemicals in a small bag in front of an astrological clock.
